| | Announcements Masquerading as Discussions | | I cannot tell you how many times I have seen people post things as "discussions" which are best suited to private messages between friends. My biggest pet peeve is the phenomenon of "I'm leaving MyLot" discussions (if you can call them that).
A user creates a discussion announcing their departure from MyLot stating whatever reason for the departure. The "discussion" usually gets LOTS of responses, and the original poster never actually leaves. I have yet to see one of these people who announce they are leaving MyLot actually go.
With over 143 THOUSAND users, even if the person has hundreds of friends, this sort of thing hardly merits posting as a discussion and is really something that should be conveyed as a private message to one's friends only.
Most of the people who post these types of "discussions" have caused much discord among other users and I suspect that they are just creating yet another opportunity to cause trouble in the MyLot community, paint themselves as a victims, and get sympathy for themselves - all the while earning those MyLot pennies for the "discussion".

| | School closing announcements on tv driving me crazy! | | Today in MA we are having an unbelievable snow storm. The mayor has declared a snow emergency in the state so obviously all the schools are closed. Subway trains are getting stuck and buses are barely running and those that are are using a snow route. I'm trying to watch tv and at the bottom of the screen a local radio station is running continuous school closing announcements. They are taking up a large amount of space and I have a pretty big screen but they are very distracting. I know they also announce school closings on the radio and on school web pages but I think it should be obvious since we're in a state of emergency that all schools would be closed don't you? Why do they find a need to show them on tv all day? Do you experience the same thing during a snow storm in your area? Don't you find it ridiculous? Who would even send their kids or go to school on a day like this? The visibility is practically 0 so shouldn't people use common sense? | |

It is now so much of everyday life I think I am beginning to become numb to these casualties. | | Upbux is lying to us. What a scammers! | | If you have been a member of crownptc site you might have read admin announcements. 1-2 weeks ago they have been having a paypal issue as well. It took them a good week to resolve the issue with them, but they resolved it and paying now again. Even when paypal was not available they added new paying methods such as Alertpay and have lowered down cash out for checks (from $20 to $10). They've convinced people to stay with them. crownptc admin did not blame Paypal of anything, he was just working to resolve the issue and he did. Well you can not say the same about Upbux. Right now they are blaming just paypal, I personally do not think that it's paypal's fault. Do you think the same? | |

The article says:
When a man checked his account at a bank he was surprised to see that his balance became $88,888,888,888.88. This was said to be a technical error on the side of the bank but it was also stated that this is a frequent bank error being committed.
It was also nice to hear that the man have the heart to donate some to charity even though he was not allowed by the bank representative to move the said funds. I have also heard this happen once to another person when he figured out about the same kind of error committed by the bank to his account, he immediately withdrew all the money and closed his account before the bank could have traced the error committed to his account. Though i did not know if the bank had collected the money from him but i think it was not more than a thousand dollar.Have you also experienced/heard of the same kind of incident before?
