I hear my neighbors alarm go off at least once every day and I know most of it is probably just because someone got too close to it or something. | Car alarms: The most useless invention known to man and a waste of money | | I say that because I've been sitting here for the past twenty minutes listening to someone's car alarm going off in the complex.
Whoever set off the alarm, if nefarious intentions were the reason, has long since made off with the booty inside the car as nobody pays attention to these things.
I would imagine burglars are aware of this fact and when the alarm goes off they just proceed about their business.
Nobody comes running, certainly not the car owner.
It just makes this awful racket and annoys the hell out of everybody else.
Besides car alarms, is there any modern convenience that you think is completely useless? | |
