| Received Epson R280--is this what we need? Canon Pixma MP 250? Don't know much~ | | Good morning~My sister-in-law gave us a printer that they have had but haven't used yet. It's an Epson R280. We need a printer, as ours broke a while and we had to get rid of it. I teach Spanish (one-on-one, small groups, online...); and I'm starting a class this coming week. Looks like I'll be printing lots of papers each week for this class. We have to make a decision about a printer. My husband bought a printer the other day, a Canon Pixma MP 250. Money is super tight right now. We could return the printer my husband bought and use the money for other bills, etc. Or we could use the Epson R280.The thing with the Epson R280 is that it's a photo printer, and we don't really print pictures that much. If we do, we can just go to Walmart. We really don't need a photo printer. We're concerned about the cost of using this. It has six separate ink cartridgebut a multi-pack of all the others is $89! There's no way we can afford to spend $89 on ink! My brother-in-law said that we could give this back to them if it didn't meet our needs.I have no idea as to how long it'd take for the different... | |
| | my new epson sucks! | | I had an old 3-in1 HP. It worked fine but when I went to purchase ink for it, the ink was more than a new printer plus the ink. So I bought an epson all in one. It sucks. It was actually cheaper to buy the new printer plus ink than to replace the ink in my hp. Now I know why. Epson sucks! It has lines in the images! My newsletters do pretty good, but cd covers are terrible! I am so disappointed. and I already gave my hp to someone who didn't have a printer![em]cry[/em] | |
| | I am looking for anyone who uses an Epson printer RX425 | | Hi Guys.
I am looking for someone who uses an epson photo printer no RX425.
The problem I have is that when I put a small item in to be printed out at full A4 size, well it doesn't.
The printout is still the same size.Anyone with any ideas?but a multi-pack of all the others is $89! There's no way we can afford to spend $89 on ink! My brother-in-law said that we could give this back to them if it didn't meet our needs.I have no idea as to how long it'd take for the different cartridges to run out. If I'd only end up replacing a couple at a time, it wouldn't be too bad. Black is $20; and I believe the individual colors were about $12.50 each.I just thought I'd see if anyone knew anything about all this and if you all had suggestions for us from a practical standpoint. Thanks so much for your help!

| | Printing problems using EPSON Printers | | Hi friends! i just want to share with you my printing problems using epson printers.
i have 2 epson printers here, the epson stylus c45 and c90. i had observed they are both very sensitive printers. specially when there are some small particles fall inside the printer, it will start having problems when printing. my prob with my c45 now is that it says that parts inside the printer has ended its service life. my husband tried to open the printer and clean the waste pad ink because they said that was the problem because it was already full and must be cleaned or replaced. and i have to download the service utility system which i already did but nothing happens. i have to let it repaired to the service center again and it will cost me much for the 3rd time. my prob with my c90 also is that it has ran out of colored and its so expensive to buy each original color cartridge and its compose of 3 colors plus 1 black.i have to buy a continuous ink to save money on this but i dont have any idea regarding these so i still have to search for it if it would really work on my epson printer. | |
