| | Natural or lab grown diamond?!? | | I have recently got engaged and my boyfriend got me a temporary ring because he thought it would be nice to choose my actual engagement ring together. I have been looking around and I am torn between buying a real diamond and a lab created diamond solitaire ring. To me they are both real diamonds and it doesn't matter whether they were made by the earth or a in a lab. The same example is with babies whether they are born naturally or created by IVF treatment it is still a real baby....Anyway you can buy a 1 carat natural diamond, with a basic cut for around £1500...but you can get a perfect cut 1 carat lab created diamond ring starting around £500! What do you all think? would you be upset if your boyfriend presented you with a lab created diamond ring? do you believe it is fake even if a jeweler cannot identify its authenticity until the very last test? | |

| Runaway Lab.. | | My black lab of 3 years somehow got loose from our secured yard the other night and we have drove around and searched endlessly to no avail. It is such a helpless feeling but not giving up hope of his return although in reality I know he probably will never be found. Anyone else out there experiencing this or have experienced this and how do you deal with it? | |
| | Owning a lab | | Wats it like owning a lab? I've only been around a lab afew times, but they seem super playful. With their size & everything, does that affect them at all? Make them proane to distruction or anything? I dont know if they're agressive at all. But do you think they're a good dog for kids? Or more for adults?(with behavior I mean. Theres some dogs, like the shitzu that are said to be better pets for older kids, wat about the labs?) | |
| | Finally, Lab and Clinical time.....now*scared* | | Never thought I would get this far, now it is here and I am a nervous wreck!! I done as much as I could online so I can save with gas, babysitter, and get things done around the house, work part time, etc. Time has come to go to classroom. I am nervous for traveling, seeing other students, messing up in the clinicals, not being able to do the labs, giving shots, taking blood, taking blood pressure, pulse, etc. I do not want to fail, I want to pass and prove to myself as well as others that I can do it and did do it. Then I also want to continue and pass admission into the Nursing program.
Any advice? Anyone else do Medical assisting courses? Anyone else ever feel like this?

| | My lab is scared of thunder and rain storms | | He goes absolutly crazy in bad weather, we live in the southeast so we get plenty of rain storms.
I bring him in and put him in a crate when it rains, if I don't he scratched on the floor of his iglu dog house
until his toenails come off! Well just now I had him inside in his crate and it started raining and before I knee
it he's chewed his way out the side plastic part.! I would let him loose in the house but he is so crazy when it rains
he tears up everything before I can get it away from him... He's driving me crazy with this. Anyone have this problem?
Any ideas???? Help. LiZ
| | PotBelly Pig vs. Yellow Lab | | I have a potbelly pig Named Gip (pig backwards) and and a yellow lab named bog (i don't think that's his official name but anything that rhymes with that he answers to like frog:)) but anyway i was reading on the internet that potbelly pigs are supposedly smarter than dogs. But i don't really know if this is true because all i ever see him do is eat and go to the bathroom. on the other hand i taught my dog how to sit shake stand up and if you put a piece of food on his paw he wont touch it until you say his name. so if anyones got any good poof that a potbelly pig is smarter than a dog then i stand bye my dog. | |

| My lab has a problem | | Ok so i have a 3/4 Chocolate Lab and 1/4 boarder collie, so she is very active and very small, for a lab she is small in size and weight, but that really has nothing to do with my problem, i just wanted to tell y'all that. Anyway she has Saracoptic Mange, and its the worst mange that she could get, we have her on medicene and we are going to get her spayed, because apparently when she goes into heat, it speeds up the mange. Does anyone else know anything else to help her? has you puppy dog ever had it? or wild beast? | |
