| Homemade Christmas | | So this year we are all flat broke! So my family, when in this situation, we make it a homemade Christmas. I am making goodies and spice mixes I found online. Easy, cheap and useful! My mom is making body pillows for everybody! My brother buys a half cow and a half pig and gives meat for a gift! My daughter is burning CDs for everybody.
Any other ideas for homemade Christmas presents that won't end up in the trash? | |
| | | Collections: Do you have any? | | I am just curious on what people collects, be it stuff toys, books, travel souvenirs, dolls, cars etc. How and when did you start this collection? What kind of satisfaction do you feel each time you look at them? Do you buy most of them or just gifts? Where do you keep them?I used to have an officemate who loves to collect pigs, not real ones though. That would be a piggery! May it be figurines, stuff toys, mugs, ball pens, bags, etc. Name it, she has it. During her birthdays or Christmas, I don't have any problem on looking for a gift specially for her. Just look for a pig item in the mall and she'll be delighted to receive it. Her room is full of pigs in any color and sizes as well.I hope to know what your collections are. I hope these are not enemies![em]lol[/em] Thanks![em]happy[/em] | |
| | Do you trust so easily? | | This morning my son needed a drawing book and I was in a panic because all nearby shops were closed. I was on my way driving him to school when I noticed a stationery open. I have never bought anything from this shop. I was mixed up whether to buy an A4 or an A3 drawing book, I was going to take both but the shopkeeper told me to take both and that I can pay later when I decide which one I was going to choose. I remained perplexed. He trusted me without knowing me. I could not believe that such nice people still exist.!Do you trust so easily? | |
| | Have you got a rubber band ball? | | Just wondered who out there like me puts their rubber bands into a ball? (see pic of one similar to mine) I started one about 5 years ago now, but left it where I used to work so had to start a new one over! It's getting quite big now at least 12 cm across! I'm very protective over mine after losing the last one! I'll pick up rubber bands in the street to add to my collection! How many of you out there have a rubber band ball? how big is it? | |

| | Stuff it | | I was talking to a friend about doing shopping for the things I do not need but just had to purchase because of cyber Monday when it dawned on me that I had completely forgotten about buying stocking stuffers. I can get most at one or more of the dollar stores so I am not too worried but there are a few adults that I need small gifts for that could also be used as stocking stuffers. Please share what small gifts between $5 and $10 that I should consider. | |
| | | What are your thoughts on Incredimail? | | A lot of people have Incredimail, but what do we all think about it? For those who don't know what it is, Incredimail is an e-mail client where you can check all your e-mail accounts in one spot. Yahoo is the only e-mail provider that is not compatible with Incredimail, unless you're a paying yahoo premium customer. Anyway, Incredimail has a letter creator where you can create stats for your e-mail, and you can also put all your stats and tags in your Incredimail stylebox. It's really neat, and a lot of people have benefited from it's use. So for those of you who have it, do you like it? What are your likes/dislikes? I've had Incredimail for about 4 years now, and I love all of it, except the fact that you have to pay for certain things. I paid for my Incredimail, and because of that, I think I should be able to have access to all features. But that's not the case. You have to pay separately if you want the gold gallery. I don't understand this, because it should be included with the price you pay for the Incredimail service. But other than that, I love the program and have no intention on ever getting rid of it. So what are your thoughts? | |
| | Do you keep a pen? | | Dear friends, do you keep a pen with you when you go outside your house? I invariably keep a pen in my pocket while going to office, market or at any other place and I have found that it comes as handy tool for writing, when in public places, like Banks, Post Offices and other outlets. I have found that many people do not keep it...and in case of need...they keep asking others to lend their pens. What about you....do you always keep it with you...or you believe in asking others for a small thing i.e. pen?
Please share your views and expeirences with me.
Thanks! | |
